About Us
OBiBa was founded in 2007 as a research project of Génome Québec. Shortly thereafter, OBiBa became a core project of P3G. OBiBa works in close collaboration with P3G and its other partners.
Principal Investigators
OBiBa’s principal investigators are:
- Vincent Ferretti, Co-investigator of P3G; Principal Investigator and Senior Scientist at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research
- Philippe Laflamme, Software Architect at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research
- Paul White, The Ark, University of Western Australia
Development Teams
The three teams listed below are developing OBiBa software.
- Genome Quebec Team. This team is developing GenoByte.
- Onyx/Opal Team. This team is currently developing two software applications for OBiBa: Onyx and Opal. The team is populated with individuals from the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) and P3G.
- The Ark. This team is part of the University of Western Australia, in Perth. This group is developing the Participant Management Application .
