OBiBa is a collaborative international project whose mission is to build high-quality open-source software for biobanks. This is the main page for people who are developing OBiBa software and for those who are interested in the more technical aspects of OBiBa software.

We have set up a number of open-source development tools to facilitate collaboration within and among our teams and to help ensure that the software we develop is of a consistently high standard.

Interested in Participating in OBiBa?

We welcome input and enquiries from biobank IT managers and from programmers wanting to participate in software development for an exciting domain.

The best way to contribute to OBiBa is by using the software, reporting bugs, and making feature requests in OBiBa's JIRA (our issue/feature tracking and project management system). Your feedback can strongly drive our projects and technology.
